Guler, Ceballos Deserve More Playing Time –Ancelotti

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has disclosed that the duo of Arda Güler and Dani Ceballos deserve more playing time with the team.

Recall that Guler and Ceballos have had limited minutes on the field of play for Real Madrid this season due to injuries.

However, the Italian tactician, in a chat with AS, stated that in subsequent games they will be given time to impress.

“The one I knew the least was Fran García, who has done well. Joselu and Brahim have also done very well.

“There are players who could contribute more if I gave them more minutes. Ceballos has not had the minutes he deserved for several reasons. Arda Güler could also have played more if it weren’t for injuries.

“The squad has surprised me on a general level.”

On their young players away on-loan, including Rafa Marin at Alaves, who they meet midweek, Ancelotti added: “It is important to have a Real Madrid level. Rafa Marín, Blanco, Miguel Gutiérrez… It is very important to be able to return.”
