Emmanuel Dennis bagged an assist which was not enough as relegation threatened Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 away to Leeds United in Tuesday’s Premier League game.
Dennis set up Forest goal in the 12th minute which was scored by Orel Mangala.
But goals from Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra on 20 and 45+1 minutes secured the win for Leeds.
Taiwo Awoniyi, who recently came back from injury, was brought on in the 56th minute for Danilo.
Dennis was replaced by Black Stars captain Andre Ayew in the 71st minute.
Forest are now winless in their last five games and occupy 17th spot and are outside the relegation zone on goals difference.
At King Power stadium Wilfred Ndidi was in action while Kelechi Iheanacho was benched as Leicester lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa.
The defeat leaves Leicester in the 19th position in the league standings and two points away from safety.
Also, the Foxes have failed to win any of their last five fixtures (losing four and drawing one).
Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead on 24 minutes before Harvey Barnes equalised for Leicester on 35 minutes.
With 20 minutes left Leicester were reduced to 10 men after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was sent off.
And with three minutes left to play Bertrand Traore grabbed the winner for Villa.
