Nigeria’s Olympic team captain, Azubuike Okechukwu is optimistic they will overturn their 2-0 first leg deficit suffered away to Libya in last week’s U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers reports Completesports.com.
Azubuike admitted in a chat with the media in Asaba that his side must create more chances in the final third to stand a chance of advancing to the group stages of the African U-23 Cup of Nations to hold in Egypt from 8th – 22nd of November this year.
Despite dominating the first leg, Nigeria’s Olympic team failed to create a goalscoring chance throughout the game according to reports.
