You know what they say about dreams: Never give up on them. That’s exactly the mindset Super Falcon’s player, Chidinma Okeke held on to, and, now, she has just recorded the biggest deal in her career after getting signed to Real Madrid‘s women’s football club.
Although Okeke has made a number of appearances for Nigeria since 2016, for ten years, the only club she could call her own was Lagos-based FC Robo Queens. Thanks to her fantastic performances on the Super Falcons team, the 19-year-old eventually caught the eyes of clubs in Europe.
With the Real Madrid deal completed, we expect Okeke to help boost the team’s standings on the women’s Primera División table, where they finished 13th last season. Needless to say, excellent performances from her in every game will also help build her profile in Europe.
