With roughly one month to go until the 2019-20 Premier League season kicks off, it’s no longer news that Arsenal will be donning a new home kit. Fans of the club just got to see what the new design looks like in an unveiling video, featuring Alex Iwobi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Set in the Gunners’ home, London, the video shows an optimistic Aubameyang grabbing breakfast as a cheeky Iwobi receives a video call in a press conference. While it’s clear in the video that the stars are preparing for the new season, we don’t lose sight of the new kit.
Designed by Adidas, it features the company’s iconic three stripes running along the shoulders, and their logo on the right side of the chest. Just as Nigeria‘s World Cup kit pays tribute to the Super Eagles ’94 kit, Adidas designed the new kit as a tribute to the club’s early 90’s kit.
Alongside former players, acclaimed British actor, Idris Elba — who remains one of Arsenal’s most famous fans — makes a cameo in the video. He brags that he was a top scorer as a kid and could have gone on to play for the club.
The video leaked a few days ago and was promptly deleted on Adidas’ YouTube channel. Now that it’s been officially released, you can watch it below before making a quick stop at the online store to check out the kit in detail:
