Last weekend, boxing fans the world over were left speechless when Anthony Joshua lost his heavyweight titles to Andy Ruiz Jr. Even more shocking? The British-Nigerian boxer has taken his defeat rather well, and he’s already making plans to move forward with his career.

In a revealing video shared to his YouTube page, Joshua is his usual self – bright, confident and spirited. We’ve seen sports stars overhaul their teams after a loss but the boxer says he won’t do that, as he believes his team continues to deliver on their own part.

About the fight specifically, the 29-year-old explains his training routine leading up to the big day. Since there have been speculations regarding why he lost, Joshua clears the air by saying his diet was topnotch and he didn’t have a panic attack during the fight.

He then goes on to talk about the rematch clause in the fight contract, which he’s looking to leverage on to get back his titles before the end of the year. Hopefully, the next time he steps into the ring with Ruiz, the fight actually goes his way.
