If there’s one player that has given Villarreal bragging rights in La Liga, it’s certainly Samuel Chukwueze, as he constantly came through for them. Now, thanks to his energetic style of play, he has been ranked the top under-21 dribbler in La Liga for the season.

According to football stats site, WhoScored, the Nigerian completed 52 dribbles this season — more than any other player aged 21 or under in the league. Not only did the stats prove that he edged out other under-21 players, but the numbers also show that he averaged two dribbles per game.

There’s no doubting Chukwueze’s talent on the pitch. He’s fast and is well cut out for long shots, but the most impressive of all his skills is dribbling. It’s this same skill that endeared legends like Okocha to fans across the world, and, so far, the 20-year-old hasn’t failed to garner fans of his own.

No wonder there are talks about big clubs like FC Barcelona and Liverpool making moves to sign him.
