Since scoring the fastest goal in the history of the Super Eagles, Paul Onuachu has become one of the most talked-about football fans across Nigeria. Well, it looks like that didn’t escape the notice of big clubs in Europe, as reports have it now that FC Porto is looking to sign him this summer.

Onuachu currently plays for FC Midtjylland in Denmark, and seeing the way interests are pouring in for the striker, the club has set his transfer price at €10 million (N4 billion). According to Football Live, the huge sum isn’t bothering Porto, as they’ve resolved to officially open talks for his transfer at the end of the Danish regular season.

With 16 points under their belt, Porto is hot in the Champions League right now, which however, doesn’t mean there’s no room for improvement. It’s safe to say Onuachu is up to the task of bringing that improvement, going by the fact that he has scored 19 goals and provided six assists so far this season.

What’s more, he’s really anxious to move to Portugal since he wants the deal concluded before he joins the Super Eagles for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in June.
