Gamr Signs Partnership On Deepening e-Sports In Nigeria With The SociaLiga

Africa’s premier e-sport platform, Gamr, has announced a strategic partnership with The SociaLiga to further deepen e-sports penetration in Nigeria. The partnership will see both companies collaborate on the development of an upcoming eSociaLiga league.

The SociaLiga which is a community-driven sports entertainment company has over the past six (6) years promoted and managed a successful private football league for both semi-professionals and corporate organizations. It has leveraged technology and the interactive power of entertainment to rekindle an interest in indigenous sporting activities resulting in active participation by the millennial generation. This partnership presents as an opportunity for The SociaLiga to expand its offering to include e-sports and grow its commercial awareness likewise.

Gamr Africa is a community driven technology platform built to enhance & enable the adoption of e-sports in Africa, so a partnership with Social Liga to provide players with better opportunities and structure through SociaLiga’s existing league infrastructure was nothing short of instinctive.

The partnership will see Gamr’s platform used as the official e-sports platform for the eSociaLiga

 Gamr’s tech enabled platform makes it easy for gamers to discover tournaments from across the world, track game progress and build a career. With 89,000+ users and counting, the eSociaLiga will be powered by the gamr platform. Tournament updates, scores, player statistics and more will be made available, and these can also be accessed on the Gamr mobile app.

SociaLiga’s activity calendar features a football league which will run from October 2022 – June 2023 along with the ongoing Corporate League. The eSociaLiga will mirror the same format and fixtures of the various leagues.

More details on the respective leagues, its registration process and official start date will be available on both SociaLiga’s and Gamr websites.

The partnership between Gamr and SociaLiga will seek to accomplish key growth objectives and these include:

• Identifying pro talents for global tournaments like the eNations league
• Building a new system of eFootball for football teams in Nigeria to participate in

• Ultimately improving infrastructure for competitive professional e-sports on the continent
