Nigeria Records 17 New Covid-19 Deaths

Nigeria on Sunday recorded the most coronavirus deaths in a single day.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday reported 17 fatalities.

As of Saturday, the total number of deaths resulting from COVID-19 was 128.

But according to the data released on Sunday, the total number of deaths in the country stood at 143.

Nigeria has also exceeded 4000 confirmed cases with 745 discharged.

NCDC had on Saturday, reported “248 new cases of #COVID19; 81-Lagos. 35-Jigawa, 26-Borno, 26-Kano, 20-Bauchi, 13-FCT, 12-Edo, 10-Sokoto, 7-Zamfara, 4-Kwara, 4-Kebbi, 2-Gombe, 2-Taraba, 2-Ogun, 2-Ekiti, 1-Osun, 1-Bayelsa.

” Of the 4399 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria; Discharged: 779; Deaths: 143.”
