Bandits Shots Man Dead, Rapes His Daughter, Then Abducts His Wife In Delta State

A middle-aged man identified as Daniel Benwari has reportedly been shot dead by unknown bandits at Abuelo Quarters of Issele-Azagba community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to reports, the bandits also raped the deceased’s daughter Ebie and abducted his wife, Helen Benwari during the attack launched around 7pm on Wednesday.

The victim’s mother, Mrs. Ajeke Attah, who resides with her son’s family, confirmed the incident, noting that the gunmen also took the phones and shoes of her son. She said:

“They knocked on the door, we begged them but they refused. We had locked the protector. My son went in to get the keys to the doors. As soon as he opened the door, the people followed his wife into the house and shot my son as he tried to close the door. They took his phones, shoes and assaulted his daughter.”

At the time of filing this reports, the police a yet to make a statement on the attack.
