Back in 2017, Davido had an unprecedented career resurgence with his row of runaway hits, “If” “Fall”, “Fia” and “Like Dat”. This year, Davido is enjoying yet another career spike, as he becomes a mainstay in overseas charts, thanks to the history-making single, “Fall”.
Now, as the views on “Fall” continue to rise, and Davido continues to churn out hit songs, the afropop titan makes YouTube history once again, becoming the most viewed Nigerian artist on YouTube, amassing well over 500 million views across all his uploads on the platform.

There is no doubt that Davido is one of the biggest artists out of Nigeria, and each year he has a long list of accolades to prove it. This year alone, he has sold out London’s O2 Arena, recorded the longest-charting Nigerian single in Billboard history, and claimed many firsts from streaming giant, YouTube.
After “Fall” beat out Tekno’s “Pana” and Yemi Alade’s “Johnny” to become the most viewed Nigerian music video on YouTube, Davido then became the first Nigerian artist to reach over 100 million views on YouTube, making his latest record with YouTube icing on the cake.
As the DMW boss, Davido’s YouTube page is home not only to all his music, but also to tracks and videos released by all the DMW artists. With talents such as Mayorkun, Peruzzi and Dremo under his wing, we are not surprised this successful label head is leading the charge for Nigerian artists.
