Romero: Spurs Can Win Trophies Next Season

Tottenham star Cristian Romero says he’s optimistic Spurs will win trophies next season.

Recall that Romero was part of the Argentina squad that won the Copa America and was heavily linked to join Real Madrid.

Speaking with ESPN, Romero stated that he’s hopeful Tottenham will win trophies next season.

“I’m not thinking about other clubs! I respect Tottenham a lot,” he told ESPN.

“They have always given me a lot of love, so I enjoy playing here for Spurs. Let’s hope we can win a trophy this season. That is my mission.”
