In Zamfara State, a violent clash erupted between two rival factions, resulting in the demise of a notorious bandit leader, Sani Dangote, along with his two siblings and several of his gang members.
According to reports on Tuesday, the confrontation occurred in the Dumburum forest of Zurmi Local Government Area, where Dankarami, another prominent bandit, engaged in a battle for supremacy with Sani Dangote’s faction after allegedly stealing their cattle.
A reliable source from the security sector in the region disclosed on Monday that the altercation began when Dankarami raided the cattle belonging to Sani Dangote, sparking the deadly confrontation.
Describing the incident, the source stated, “The battle between the two bandit kingpins started when Dankarami rustled the cattle belonging to Sani Dangote. That was how the fight began.”
As of now, the state police command has not officially confirmed the incident.
