Nottingham Forest manager, Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed Taiwo Awoniyi will miss the club’s next two games against Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Awoniyi missed Forest’s 1-1 draw with Luton Town before the international break due to injury.
The injury also forced him to pull out of Nigeria’s friendly against Ghana and Mali.

Santo revealed that the striker is yet to recover from the injury.
“It is a big blow for us because he (Awoniyi) had just come back (from injury). The importance of Taiwo is huge. He gives us another option,” Santo was quoted by NottinghamshireLive.
“I don’t know exactly how long he will be out for but I am positive we are going to see him again this season. He will definitely miss these two games.”
The 26-year-old has scored six goals in 17 league appearances for the Reds this season.
