Ogun Assembly Speaker, Kunle Oluomo Impeached

The Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Kunle Oluomo, has been impeached.

The impeachment of  Oluomo, Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, is associated with allegations ranging from financial fraud to a leadership tussle within the state assembly.
The many accusations against him are seen as a possible cause for his removal.

Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has been appointed as the new Speaker in place Oluomo.
