Cote d’Ivoire midfielder Sekou Fofana is looking forward to a difficult duel against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The two giants of African football will clash at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe on Thursday (today).

Fofana reckoned that the Super Eagles will make things difficult for his side and has rallied his teammates to put up their best.

“I know how decisive this match is, Nigeria wants to win this match and they are a very big opponent,” the powerful midfielder, who was named Man of the Match in Cote d’Ivoire’s win against Guinea-Bissau told CAFonline.

“We are ready, there is no doubt about it. It will be up to us to approach the match with the right spirit and work hard for victory.”

Fofana also reflected on the team’s expectation in the competition.

“That, I don’t know. I think we have to take it match by match. We shouldn’t put too much pressure on ourselves either. The most important thing is to have fun, perform well every time and let time tell us what will happen,” he added.
