President Bola Tinubu on Thursday said that democracy should be progressive and inclusive, focusing primarily on combating poverty by providing job opportunities for youths and ensuring quality education.
During the National Working Committee (NWC) members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos on Thursday, Tinubu showed his support for establishing the National Institute of Progressive Studies.
The President emphasized that the Institute’s objective would involve conducting meticulous research and educating every party member on the principles of democracy and good governance, ultimately shaping a distinctive identity for the party
“Democracy has faced challenges in the past, but I believe in a promising future for our country. We will deliver it.
“I am committed to supporting a strong and ideologically determined democracy that is progressive, inclusive, and focused on eliminating poverty while providing quality education for our children
“Collaboration with various government arms is crucial, and I commend the leadership of our party for working hard to promote these essential ideals,” the President stated.
Kanyi Daily recalls that Bola Tinubu had said that his administration would persistently strive to revamp the nation’s economy and establish viable avenues for youth engagement in a labor-intensive and inclusive economy.
