Zlatan & Naira Marley Reunite On Candy Bleakz’s Debut Single, ‘Owo Osu’

Nigeria has not been kind to hip-hop stars, with female rappers, in particular, getting the short end of the stick. So, we have our fingers crossed for Chocolate City signee, Candy Bleakz, who just came through with her first official single, “Owo Osu”, featuring Naira Marley and Zlatan.

With Naira Marley still in EFCC custody, following his tongue-in-cheek track, “Am I A Yahoo Boy”, there has been a lot of attention on him. Given this, it was the perfect time for Candy Bleakz to release this song, and it has definitely caught our attention.

“Owo Osu” makes it clear why Chocolate City signed Candy, as she manages to hold her own alongside her talented guest acts. The track is about the lengths each artist will go to in order to achieve wealth, taunting their haters by asking if they’ve received their salaries.

We’re definitely looking forward to hearing more from Candy Bleakz, as this track has the potential to be a breakout song for the rising star. Now, we can only hope that Chocolate City treats her with a little more regard than they have their past female signees.
