The pan-African ensemble of Mr Eazi, GuiltyBeatz, Ghanaian up-and-comer, J.Derobie, and Rwandan dancer, Sherrie Silver have tapped into the impactful nature of dance, as they look to promote agricultural investment with their catchy track, “Freedom”.
Produced by GuiltyBeatz, “Freedom” is a vibrant dance track that highlights the importance of farming in contemporary African economies, encouraging more investment in agriculture as a means of alleviating hunger and poverty.
In the Olle Enqvist-directed video for “Freedom”, we see different farming communities hard at work, following acclaimed “This Is America” choreographer, Sherrie Silver as she visits each one, infecting all of them with the spirit of dance.
Supported by the United Nations International Fund for Agricultural Development, “Freedom” is released with the aim of promoting #DanceforChange, a viral challenge that acts as a virtual petition to African leaders to increase agricultural funding.
