Wande Coal Joins Amaarae For Catchy New Song, ‘Spend Some Time’

Amaarae is one of the most exciting new artists and there is very little fault to be found in her quality-not-quantity approach. An approach she has applied to her latest Wande Coal-assisted song, “Spend Some Time” – her first single since her 2017 EP, Passionfruit Summers.

After building a name in the Ghanaian music scene, the sex-positive starlet started inching her way into the Nigerian scene last year following her fantastic performance at ART X LIVE!, and her stellar feature on Santi’s “Rapid Fire”.

Now, she’s aligned herself with one of the biggest Nigerian artists, which will definitely add to her growing fan base over here and should thrust her right into mainstream success.

With a catchy beat produced by Øbed & Rvdical Tha Kid, “Spend Some Time” sees Amaarae delivering in her usual distinct and hypnotic manner. She wears her heart on her sleeve and demands her lover’s time and affection, before she’s joined by Wande Coal who also delivers as expected.

The best part of the song has to be the catchy beat which allows this unlikely pair soar, and given this, we’re looking forward to what else Amaarae has in store for us.
