A Former Minister of Aviation cum member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar took ill and has been flown to Paris for medical attention.
Femi Fani-Kayode Claims Atiku Ill, Collapsed At Abuja Airport
Fani Kayode disclosed this in a tweet on his official handle on Tuesday evening.
According to him, the former vice president fell ill after his outing in Kaduna following complaints of dizzy spells and severe pains in his head and all over his body throughout the flight to Abuja
He also claimed that Atiku collapsed upon landing at the Abuja airport.
“After his outing in Kaduna yesterday @atiku fell ill. He complained of dizzy spells& severe pains in his head& all over his body throughout the flight to Abuja,” he wrote.
“After landing at Abuja airport he collapsed. He was flown to Paris for medical attention immediately. God be with him.”
He also claimed that his campaign team decided to cover the news with damage control as they took pictures of Atiku the following morning from Paris.
He urged members of the public not to be fooled by such, noting that all is not well with PDP presidential candidate’s health.
“For the purposes of damage control they took pictures of him with others the following morning from Paris but please do not be fooled.
“There is something very wrong with the PDP pres. candidate in terms of his health & they don’t want the Nigerian public to know. Pray for him.”

At the time of filing this report, the Atiku presidential campaign council and PDP are yet to react to the claim by Fani-Kayode.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that a social critic and university teacher, Farooq Kperogi had claimed Tinubu can’t be president because he is seriously sick.
