Davido has been a hot topic in the music industry for the last two years, and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. His steady rise has been as a result of the fantastic work he’s been doing, both on his own tracks and as a guest artist.

Now, he’s bringing his international collaborations a bit closer to home with his latest feature on Ghanaian artist, Medikal‘s song, “Father“.

“Father” is a grateful song, upon which both artists sing about their successes and thank God for how far they’ve come. On the super catchy hook, the two artists humbly admit that no one knows tomorrow, therefore, we should always be grateful for what we have.

For the video, the two flaunt their riches in the streets, before they pull up to a church – in their Gucci shoes no less – where they dance joyfully to the catchy song. While we’re not sure “Father” will be as popular as Davido’s more recent features, it’s still an enjoyable song with a nice message.
