Anthony Joshua is billed to fight American boxer, Jarrell Miller on June 1st — his first-ever fight outside the UK. And despite being confirmed just a few days ago, the fight has become the highest-grossing pre-sale boxing event in Madison Square Garden history.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn confirmed this on Twitter:

Well, given that Joshua is unarguably the biggest name in heavyweight boxing right now, this is expected. Moreover, since he started making exploits in the UK, some people have argued that he shouldn’t really be seen as a champion until he takes his fight outside the country.
So, this upcoming fight is a chance for him to prove the doubters wrong. Although it will be broadcast live in the US and the UK, who would want to give up the chance to be in the arena when the unified world heavyweight champion defends his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO against “Big Baby” Miller?
General tickets for the fight went on sale yesterday and they’re bound to sell out before you know it.
