Chairman/Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), has lost his first wife, Zainab.
A statement by the family through NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi said she died early Saturday after a brief illness.
She was aged 66.

The deceased is survived by children Abubakar, Mohamed Jr, Mariam and Zainab; 10 grandchildren, siblings and an aged mother.
During her lifetime, she championed the cause of women and the girl child.
The statement added that burial plan will be announced at a later date by the family.
