Following the release of his acclaimed mixtape, Outside, Burna Boy received a ton of praise, winning at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, the AFRIMMA Awards and the Soundcity MVP Awards. Now, a year later, Burna Boy tells fans he’s got three more albums waiting in his vault.

In response to a fan tweeting that they could really do with another Burna Boy project right about now, the self-proclaimed African Giant revealed that three albums have already been recorded, but blamed “the process” for holding up their release.

We aren’t quite sure what stage of the album-making process the singer is in, as he didn’t give any specifics, so we don’t know when we’ll be getting even one of these projects. Still, Burna is keeping our needs in mind, as he promised us an incoming single.

If his releases since Outside are anything to go by, Burna Boy’s upcoming singles and projects are only going to get better, as he keeps levelling up — going from “Gbona” to “On The Low” and, most recently, the Zlatan-assisted “Killin’ Dem”.
