The popular microblogging site, Twitter, has, at long last and after the ban by the Federal Government, stopped operating in the country.

It definitely won’t shock Twitter users in the country as the news of the social network banning has been trending and flying around social media before the end of the day.

At precisely 12am, the social network stopped, and Nigerians could only access it through Virtual Private Network, VPN.

When one accesses it through that, Twitter will load and run like normal.

However, Nigerians used that opportunity to tweet again, and I picked some funny ones for you readers.
