Earlier on in the year, Victor AD and Davido teamed up for “Tire You”, a jam that found them celebrating their wins while encouraging us to strive for greatness. Now, the two are back with a fitting video that further emphasises the song’s motivational message.

The video for “Tire You” begins with a group of boys waking up in the slums. While one of them is industrious, using his time to perfect his craft and tend to his customers, the others sit around a checkers board all day, mocking their neighbour for working so hard

Between shots of Victor AD gleefully singing from rooftops and riding fast cars, the story of these boys develops in the way you’d expect, and we see the hardworking friend secure the bag and eventually move up in life.

If the message of “Tire You” wasn’t obvious enough from Davido and Victor AD’s energetically delivered bars, its Dindu-directed video makes it crystal clear: Life is about working hard to make it, and if you don’t put in the hours, your peers will inevitably leave you behind.
