Fulham manager Scott Parker has says explained why Ola Aina and the club’s other new signings were not included in the squad for Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat to Arsenal, reports Completesports.com.
Aina completed his loan move to Fulham from Serie A club Torino on Friday.
The Nigeria international was not named in the matchday squad despite already featuring in a number of pre-season games for Torino prior to the move.

“Today, this game’s come too early for those players; Alphonse [Areola], Lemina, the two boys [Kenny Tete & Ola Aina] we literally just signed. They probably fit into the same category as Mitro,” Parker told fulhamfc.com.
“I’m pleased that he got 30 minutes, along with Anguissa, and on Wednesday [against Ipswich Town] we can get some more minutes into these players.”
