Championship: Ajayi Starts Again As Rotherham Draw At Home; Aluko, Ameobi Also In Action

Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi maintained his consistent appearance for Rotherham United who were held to a 1-1 home draw by Wigan Athletic at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, South Yorkshire in the English Championship, on Saturday, Completesports.com reports.

Ajayi, 25, has now featured in all 31 Championship games for Rotherham United so far this season and has scored once.

Clarkson Robertson gave the hosts the lead two minutes before the half hour mark, while Josh Windass restored parity for Wigan four minutes later.

At the Hillsborough Stadium, Sone Aluko featured from the start in Reading ‘s 0-0 away draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Aluko who made his 18th league appearance of the season for the club was replaced by Jón Daði Böðvarsson 15 minutes from time.

In another Championship match on Saturday Sammy Ameobi featured from start to finish in Bolton Wanderers 2-1 home loss to Preston North End.
