Atiku Abubakar condemns Military Coup in Ethiopia

Former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has express with great displeasure as to the turn of events in a sovereign country like Ethiopia.

He has condemned the military action taken by the Ethiopian elite forces and the elimination of the country’s army chief and other officials.

In his words; “The coup attempt against the democratically elected government of Office of the Prime Minister-Ethiopia stands condemned. Democracy has come to stay in Africa and we must accept this wind of change from the Cape to the desert. As a democrat, my right hand of fellowship is offered to the people of Ethiopia. You are not alone. Long live democracy in Africa”
