Reekado Banks has had a pretty packed year so far. As well as flying solo on his infectious dance anthem, “Yawa”, the afropop star has collaborated with the likes of Tolani, DJ Enimoney and even Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie.

Now, the talented singer has crossed seas, teaming up with St. Lucian pop duo, Lu City for their infectious new love song, “Starting Over”.

On the track, Lu City sing to the ladies who have their heart, professing their undying commitment and asking for a clean slate. Reekado Banks hops on the song’s middle verse, remembering the good times he shared with his girlfriend and begging her not to throw their love away.

“Starting Over” is accompanied by passionate and playful visuals, which captures all three men wooing young women by the pool. Although Reekado Banks didn’t quite make it to St. Lucia, the Lu City boys tip their hat to the Nigerian star as they break into a clean shaku at the clip’s end.
