Surrey have tied skipper Rory Burns down until 2022 and announced that pace bowler Jade Dernbach has also signed a new deal.
Burns, who has been opening for the England Test side currently on tour in the West Indies, has signed a new three-year deal while Dernbach’s new contract runs until the close of the 2020 campaign.
The 28-year-old left-hander led them to the County Championship title in 2018, and was the leading scorer with 1,359 runs.
Ex-England one-day bowler Dernbach, 32, led the team in the T20 Blast in 2018.
Surrey director of cricket Alec Stewart said: “Both Rory and Jade have Surrey in their blood and they will be working hard to bring success across all formats.”
