How unarmed boy robbed bank in most unlikely of places in Lagos

A 16-year-old boy, who stole N340,000 from the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) at Ajah, Lagos, has been remanded by an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos after leading guilty.

The Magistrate, Mrs K.O. Doja-Ojo, gave the ruling on Monday.

She sent Adekunle Ayomikun to a Juvenile Centre for Boys in Oregun.

Ayomikun told the court how he entered the bank around 4.00p.m during banking hours and locked himself in the toilet.

“At night, I went to the bulk room of the bank where I saw money; I took N340,000 and kept it in my pocket,” he said.
