Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ruled out bringing back former star forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

It is been suggested Ronaldo could become available at Juventus due to financial doubts raised by the coronavirus suspension.

And the situation has led to talk of Ronaldo seeking a return to Madrid after two seasons away.

But according to Marca a boardroom source, Perez would not consider re-signing the 35 year-old, despite his admiration for the striker.

“This does not fit into the club’s sports policy. Florentino Pérez appreciates him, but his time has passed and his sporting objectives are different,” said the source.

Ronaldo joined Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 and went on to win major laurels.

During his time at Madrid, he won LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Also at Madrid he won four FIFA Best Player Award in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
