Nasarawa Governor, Sule, visits Dethroned Emir Sanusi II at exile resident

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Thursday evening visited the dethroned Emir of Kano, High Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, at his exile resident in Awe Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.

The Governor and his entourage were received by the Emir of Awe, who accompanied his to see dethroned Emir Sanusi.

Report indicated that Journalists were restricted from taking photographs or videos of the visit while the governor also declined comments on the meeting with the dethroned Emir Sanusi.

It was said that there were attempts to seize cameras from journalists who tried to steal shots of where the Emir is residing.

Report further indicated about 30 operatives of the Police Mobile Force, (PMF) the Department of State Security, (DSS) are at the exile residence of the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, in Awe, Nasarawa State.

It was said that security is obviously tight around the area and people are not allowed to park cars near the house or even go close.

Many visitors from Kano State and indigenes of the host community who were there to see the dethroned Emir of Kano were said to be kept pout of the residence and denied access to see Sanusi II.
