Juan Mata is expecting the duo Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes to come good following their arrival at Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Ighalo was a deadline signing by the Manchester-based club as a short-term fix to the club’s striking crisis while Portuguese Bruno Fernandes arrived during the transfer window for £47m.
While the latter has quickly caught the eye with his creativity and poise in the midfield, the Nigeria international is yet to, lit up Old Trafford, coming in as a late substitute in his two appearances.
But, the former Chelsea star, is unperturbed and has backed the AFCON bronze medalist to deliver.

“Bruno is a very good player, we all know that, and a very nice guy also,”Mata told United Review.
“We have been in contact a lot. He speaks Spanish mixed with Portuguese which is not very different. So he’s a good guy and I think he’s settling in very well.
“Odion has experience of playing in the Premier League and hopefully he will score many goals for us from now until the end of the season, and, as the manager said, he’s a good character as well and he’s got a good personality which has fitted straight into the dressing room.
“The better he does, then the better for us – and I wish him all the best.”
