Wilfred Ndidi is relishing the Super Eagles’ 4-2 win against the Crocodiles of Lesotho in Maseru inspired by the Superlative showing of Victor Osimhen, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen was the hero as the Super Eagles rallied back to secure their win in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday-3 Group L game at the Setsoto Stadium on Sunday.
The Lille goal machine scored twice and bagged two assists in the game.
Nkoto Masoabi gave the hosts the lead in the 11th minute from a header.
Osimhen provided the assist for Alex Iwobi’s equaliser in the 11th minute, before setting up Samuel Chukuweze for Nigeria’s second goal of the game.
The 20-year-old then scored twice in the 75th and 84th minutes respectively.
“Good to wrap the international break with a win and top of the table…The future is bright for the team ?? @victorosimhen9 ??,” Ndidi, indicating Osimhen was ‘firebrand’ in the match.
