Ibrahim Said and Peter Olawale’s goals against Ecuador and Australia respectively have been names among the best in the group stage of the ongoing 2019 FIFA .U-17 World Cup in Brazil, reports Completesports.com.
Said bagged a hat-trick in the Golden Eaglets’ 3-2 win against Ecuador, with his second goal in the match adjudged as one of the best in the group stage.
The youngster has scored four goals for the five-time champions in the competition.
Olawale’s spectacular strike in Nigeria’s 2-1 defeat to Australia was also recognised as one of the great goals so far at Brazil 2019.
Manu Garba’s boys will take on Netherlands in the 12am Wednesday kickoff (Nigerian time) of their Round of 16 clash.
The winner of the contest will take on either Paraguay or Argentina in the quarterfinals.
