Leon Balogun was not listed for Brighton Hove Albion who recorded their first Premier League win of 2019 with a 1-0 home to Huddersfield reports Completesports.com

Balogun who recently returned to training is yet to feature in the EPL for the Seagulls this term.

Substitute Florin Andone’s superb header was enough to give the Seagulls victory over the Premier League’s bottom club.

Brighton had earned just two points from seven games since beating Everton in their last outing of 2018. They move up one spot to 15th in the table, while Huddersfield stays 13 points short of safety.

At Old Trafford, Romelu Lukaku struck a late winner for Manchester United who defeated Southampton 3-2 in a pulsating game.

The win sees Manchester United move three points behind third-placed Tottenham who drew 1-1 against Tottenham Hotspurs.

The win was the 10th in 12 Premier League games under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester City edged Bournemouth 1-0 away at the Vitality stadium. Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the game early in the second half.

City’s win puts the pressure back on title rivals Liverpool, who can return to the summit with victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Sunday.

West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers recorded 2-0 wins over Newcastle United and Cardiff City respectively while Burnley lost 3-1 at home to Crystal Palace.
