Primary school where students learn under thatch hut
A primary school in Cross River State where pupils learn inside a thatched hut has been brought to public notice.
Lydia Yegraowo Okache and Godwin Onah of Hope for the Young Initiative posted photos of some primary schools they visited to pay schools fees of pupils and distribute exercise books.
One of them include Community Primary School at Akpanda Itega-Egbudu, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, where the Head teacher’s office is under a tree and pupils are taught under a thatched hut.
Lydia has posted the photos, so we can see for ourselves the state of some of our schools and come up with strategies to put them in good shapes.
