The Nigerian Police Force has invited embattled singer, Tekno Miles, over for questioning in respect of the indecent video of him dancing with semi-nude ladies in a see through mobile truck which reportedly caused commotion in traffic, in the Lekki area of Lagos last Friday.

The invitation and arrival of Tekno for questioning early today was confirmed by the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkanah, on Tuesday, August 6th, in an interview with a popular blog.

He said; “Tekno has been invited by the State CID in respect of those strp dancers in the truck in a public place dancing naked. So he is invited for questionning. He is in our office at the moment.”

Tekno’s invitation and questioning by the police comes hours after the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, (APCON) condemned the viral video describing the mobile advert as grossly indecent and disrespectful.

In a statement issued on Monday by its acting Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Ijedi Iyoha, APCON noted that the mobile advert violates the common principle of decency promoted in the code of ethics of advertising practice.
