Listen To Fireboy DML’s Impressive New Freestyle, ‘Gold Digger’

Fireboy DML is one of our favourite new artists, and since his breakout with the fantastic “Jealous”, he’s yet to drop the ball. Well, to keep us interested, the talented singer has now dropped a new freestyle, “Gold Digger“, showing off his vocal range and songwriting abilities. 

Last week, he dropped the affectionate “You”, where he was thanking fans for all their love and support since he emerged on the scene. He’s less affectionate on this new freestyle, however, as he sings about an unsupportive partner who is only around for personal gain. 

Against a guitar-heavy instrumental, he laments about his partner’s shortcomings, singing that she never supported him when he needed it the most, and thus, tagging her a gold digger. With such a sweet voice, you don’t expect such harsh words, but he certainly makes it work.
