Nationwide League (NLO) club, Magate FC is set to appoint Yemi Olanrewaju as their new manager for the forthcoming season, Completesports.com has gathered.
Olanrewaju who is currently the manager of Dream Team Soccer Academy is expected to fill the void left by Sam Olofu at the club.
The former Firatsport of Turkey, Kwara United, Crown FC and Ocean Boys player is highly rated by the management of Magate FC and the club remain confident that Olanrewaju fondly called ‘Yemaa’ by his admirers in Lagos will redeem the image of the club.
“We are gradually reshaping our team and a new coach will be appointed in the coming days. He is young and very knowledgeable,” a top source at the club told Completesports.com.
Magate FC survived the drop from Nigeria’s third tier football league Last season defeating PSI Football club from Oyo State 1-0 in the NLO relegation playoffs game played at the Kwara State stadium complex in September, 2018.
