FCT FA Pays Visit to FCT Sports Council

The newly elected FCT FA Executives led by its chairman, Abbah Mohammed Mouktar on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the  FCT Sports Council.They were received by the FCT head of sports department,Chief Mrs.Delichukwu Onyedima.

Onyedima,praised the outcome of the successful election and charged the newly inaugurated board to start work immediately.

“I was very happy about the outcome of election because they was no fight and dispute.This gladdens my heart.We have received the report of the election and we have notified the Nigeria Football Federation of the newly elected board.Last year November,we inaugurated 27 sports associations and we told the FCT authority that one big association(football) have not done their election.We have written to the FCT authority about your board.”She stated.

The FCT director of sports council also charged the board to support the chairman in taking football in the FCT to the next levels.

“Let me talk to you as executives, always support your chairman in developing football.Don’t try and drag him down,support him to make football great.”Onyedima also stated.

In his responses,the FCT FA chairman,Abbah Mohammed Mouktar said his board was on visit to notify the director of sports in the FCT of their programs and also to seek the support of her office.

“We are here to do the needful by introducing our executives to you and to also to seek your support in running football in the FCT.”

Abbah Mohammed Mouktar had on 20th June defeated incumbent FA chairman,Talle Musa by 12 to 4 votes to emerged as chairman of the FCT Football Association.
