Having been spotlighted by Naomi Campbell as one of the ten women the fashion icon considers to be changing the world, British-Nigerian rapper, Flohio has continued to show her dedication to the game, and it’s that drive that powers her latest single, “Hell Bent”.
Serving as yet another testament to her unequivocal skill, the JD Reid-produced “Hell Bent” opens with a mystical beat flying below Flohio’s mumblings of her fiery hook, before leading the rapper into her tremendous opening verse.
The British-Nigerian wordsmith passionately raps about her growth, contrasting her childhood vulnerability with the tough girl she has now become. With the affirmation “all I know now is dedication”, Flohio uses this track to let listeners know that she is hell-bent on success.
The accompanying video for “Hell Bent”, which was directed by Duncan Loudan, captures a manic Flohio delivering her bars to a bloody lens, drawing out the ruthlessness Flohio conveys over the track. It’s a fitting clip for the immensely hypnotic track.
