Fulham manager Marco Silva has praised Alex Iwobi for his impressive performance in the club’s away win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Iwobi put a stellar display to help the Whites claim a 2-0 victory over their London rival.
The Nigeria international set up substitute Harry Wilson for Fulham’s second goal seven minutes from time.
Iwobi said the midfielder has taken more responsibility and is helping the team.
‘For me, last season was the best season from him in the Premier League. I am sure he is going to be better this season, ” Silva said after the game.
‘I brought him to Everton and then had the chance to have him here in London at Fulham. It was a moment for us to go.
‘From the first week of pre-season I felt he was going to have this season. He has taken more responsibility on his back and is helping the team.’
