Pep Guardiola has vowed that Manchester City will be back at their best despite recent poor form.
City suffered their fourth consecutive loss after falling to a 2-1 defeat away to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Erling Haaland had given the Premier League champions a first half lead but conceded two quick goals in the second half.
The Cityzens went into the game hoping to halt their poor run after defeats to Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth and Sporting Lisbon.
Speaking about his team’s recent slump, Guardiola is upbeat they will bounce back.
“I love a challenge. I won’t step back! More than ever, I want to do it,” he told Sky Sports.
“When my players come back, I have no doubt that we will be back at our best. We are not finished yet.”
Saturday’s defeat left City, on 23 points, five points behind leaders Liverpool.
The Reds extended their lead at the top thanks to a 2-0 win against Aston Villa at Anfield.
Both City and Liverpool will face each other after the international break with the outcome crucial in the race for the title.
