The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has issued a warning to Nollywood actors and actresses.
This decision follows the tragic death of 39-year-old actor Junior Pope Odonwodo in a boat accident on Wednesday afternoon, while returning from filming Adanma Luke’s production.
In a statement on Thursday, AGN president, Emeka Rollas declared an immediate ban on actors and actresses from participating in Adanma Luke’s movies until further notice.
Adanma Luke’s movie “Another Side of Life”, which resulted in the death of Junior Pope and crew members, has also been indefinitely suspended.
Additionally, all film productions involving riverine areas and boat riding have been halted indefinitely. Furthermore, no Nollywood practitioner is permitted to hold any shoots on April 11th.
KanyiDaily recalls that Junior Pope Odonwodo emphasized the importance of a good wife and good health, stating that they are a man’s ultimate wealth.
