Tiwa Savage & Kizz Daniel Team Up On Young Jonn-Produced Single, ‘Ello Baby’

Since Tiwa Savage made the game-changing move from Mavin Records to Universal Music, we’ve been waiting for new music from her. Well, we’ve finally gotten our wish, as the queen of afropop has teamed up with Kizz Daniel and Young Jonn for the electrifying new single, “Ello Baby”.

Young Jonn, the acclaimed beatsmith responsible for most of Olamide’s biggest and best tracks, does an expectedly phenomenal job on “Ello Baby”, mixing the typically lively percussive elements of afropop with rapid oriental intonations, creating a vibrant and energetic beat. 

Kizz Daniel is charged with the song’s hook, upon which he asks for to his lover’s hand in marriage. As for Tiwa Savage, she shines on the opening verse, singing lovingly to her man, but reminding him to get his finances in order. “If you no get money, Olorun mo ma sa”, she warns.

Honestly, as great as they are apart, “Ello Baby” really soars when Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel perform alongside each other on the song’s rift, taking full advantage of Young Jonn’s exceptional production work — making this one of the most impressive collaborations of the year.
